Paula Cimbalak - submission 7/18/13

Good evening you fabulous people...

Well my name is Paula and I am a craft-a-holic. I first heard of Pinque Peacock from my crazy friend Tracy. And I fell in love. I am currently on Facebook... And I don't have a blog as of yet but... If I get chosen to be a Pinquette I thought my blog's birth would be a joyous occasion to celebrate... And what better way than feature creations of the Pinque Peacocks as well as some of the fabulous designers as well. I Am also on IG Instagram and have featured many pretty pins on there as well. This would be my first timer as being part of a design team. Some of the companies I use is My creative time for me, Cricut, jaded blossoms, and Love Bug ribbon. I feel that with my ideas with cards layouts and other crafty ideas I would be an asset to this sisterhood. I enjoy making everything from cards to layouts, diaper cakes, and altered art. I can commit for 6 months or more as I have dedicated my free time to scrapping. I look forward to hearing from you soon and wishing you loads of scrappiness!!!

Tess Hilton - submission 7/17/13

Hi Jessica-

My name is Tess Hilton and my blog name is Sassy Cricut Crafting, with the blog
address of www.sassycricutcrafting.com. My personal email is tess_hilton@msn.com

I am applying to your awesome and creative blog Pinque Peacock. I have been interested in trying out for your artist call ever since you first opened. I love that your creations are different and so versatile into any crafting area. Allowing your team to be creative and knowing first hand the 'drama' you have been through, I feel safe applying and knowing that this behavior would not be acceptable. Crafting and creating is an outlet for most of us and when thing or people hinder it, it makes crafting not fun any more. I am sure you can agree.

I do participate in facebook and pinterest, but only under my name and not my blog name.

I have been on two design teams, My Cricut Craftroom, and Our Kreative Karma. I was on MCCR for approximately 6 months and if you would like to know more about why I left please, do not hesitate to email me and ask. I am a open book and do not like drama. I create for fun and not as a release. I am currently still on the Our Kreative Karma design team but I am looking for a group that is more active in posting. I do not see any conflictions with Our Kreative Karma and designing for Pinque Peacock.

The following link is where my Graduation card was posted on my blog. I have not posted the others, as I am finally
getting back into blogging. You are the first to see what will be my upcoming posts. Lucky you!!
http://sassycricutcrafting.blogspot.com/2013/06/celebrate-summer-blog-hop.html
While there you are welcome to review my other crafting projects and write ups.

I am very versatile in by crafting. I love to make cards and scrapbook layouts. And now that I have recently gotten my Cameo, I have been trying my hand at vinyl and making other mixed media items.

Depending on the person I am making something for or the event I am creating the project for, I tend to stay on the 'cuter' and funny side of things. But lately I have been challenging myself with FB groups to try newer ideas and techniques. Gotta love that FB and YouTube.

I know you asked us to list a few products that we like working with (besides Pinque Peacock) and my list could go on.... and on...
But a few of them would be CTMH, who I am currently a consultant for, Peachy Keen Stamps, My Creative Time, Pink By Design, Tim Holtz, Cricut, Cameo, Core'dinations, Bazzill, Echo Park, Doodle bug, My Minds Eye, DCWV, all this to just name a few.
I am open to designing for you team a couple times a month. Plus and blog hops I am welcome to join.

Thanks for allowing me this opportunity.

Tess Hilton

Amanda Brunet - submission 7/16/13
Hello Quirky Queen Jessica!

Amanda Brunet here I saw the DT call posting this morning and figured I pretty much HAD to apply since I LOVE all your stuff! Especially the splendid swirls!

I am following your post to make sure I don’t miss out on any of the needed info

My blog name is Scrappin’ Momma and my blog is http://thescrapoholiccandyshop.blogspot.ca/
Email address is fallen_angel_69ca@hotmail.com

I am pretty much addicted to facebook and am ALWAYS online (though usually on my cell during the day and I get into my craftroom once the 3 kiddos go to bed). I have a pinterest account though have never used it to post projects of my own, although there is no reason i couldn’t. http://pinterest.com/scrapoholicandy/

I am currently on 3 design teams, all of which would be nicely colaborated with your products. I have been on the DT for the scrapbook stamp society since November, the stamping chef since February and have been on the Kadoodle Bug team for the last month. Prior to this, I was on the Paper Piecings by Nikki team for over a year and a half.

I love to paper craft, scrapbooking mostly but also cards. Recently I have done a couple altered pieces and would love to get my hands on a few more pieces (an old suitcase and some kind of shelf or furniture) to alter as well.

My style is usually pretty simplistic but I am seeing a lot of projects lately where less isn’t always more and would love to give that a shot too.

Supply wise, I am limited. I live in a small, Canadian city, with one local scrap store and a Michaels. I work with what I can get my hands on. I have done a few of Angela Holt’s calendar kits and usually follow her classes, though I haven’t done many of them. I love Three C’s Creations dew drops. I believe it was through one of her launches that I first heard of Pinque Peacock. Also, my bestest friend Kimberly Pate is on your design team and has shown me photos of product and projects. She raves about the pinque peacock supplies! For this reason, I would love to be on your design team

I am not bound by any length of time, so as long as you have room for me and as long as nothing changes in life, I can stay with Pinque Peacock as long as you’ll have me

As mentionned before, I love the splendid swirls and also the fabric covered buttons would be fun to play with!!

I am a mother of 3, ages 7, almost 4 and 2. Scrapbooking and crafting are my retreat, my sanity when they are in bed I have met some of the nicest, kindest people, and made better friends online then I have with people who are local. I love this circle and love to expand it with new faces and new ideas

Please let me know if you need any further photos or information.
Thanks for the consideration, I hope to hear from you soon

Laura Davidson - submission 7/08/13

Hi My name is Laura Davidson and I am a scrapbooker and a card maker. I love to make
mini albums also.
My blog address is www.lauraleesdream.blogspot.com
Email is lauraleed2691@hotmail.com
I do have a facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/laura.davidson.5201?ref=tn_tnmn
and I have pinterest - http://pinterest.com/emzysmom48/boards/
I have twitter account but don't use it at all..

I love your shop.. I think the first thing I saw that I loved is the covered fabric buttons, but I
love the pins you make also... I have been through your photos and I love embossing folders
I use them alot...
As a Guest Designer for Tara at Craftin Desert Diva's I had a question and Jessica answered it so
quick... made me want to order right away...
I think I could make amazing projects with your products... where or not on the design team I will be
ordering products in the near future.
I like working on any type of projects... I will try anything .. I dont know if I have a certain style as I just love to create.. but
I do love to ink anything that moves... I love glitter.... I love challenges...
I use alot of different products as alot of my collection is from kits that Tara (owner of my LSS) has made up..
but I will say this again.. I love almost all scrapping and craft stuffs!!!

As for time that is almost unlimited ... I work full time as a nurse but in my free time I use my scrapbooking as
my keep healthy tool... so I do alot of it... I am a single mom of 3 children and 5 grandchildren but only
my 20 year old daughter lives at home. She supports my crafting 100%.
I am on two other DT. Creative Kuts (almost a year) and The Stamping Chef (about 3 months).
I don't think either one will conflick with this DT.
I also guest design for Lynne Kirsh (over a year) and Tara at Craftin Desert Diva.( 2 months)
I used to teach card classes at my LSS but it closed a few weeks back which is why I have lots of time
to craft.
I have a cameo, (that needs fixed) but I still can use... a cricut, about 100 carts, an imagine, a bigshot...
I love to use all dies...I have spellbinders , some sizzix dies, some cherry lynn dies...

I am a little bit of a scrapbook collector but I love to use everything...

I was talking to Marji RF today and she told me to go for it... I wasn't sure because I live in Canada but I am
sure I can handle the shipping costs. I was a little worried because I live in Canada but I love your projects and
the projects the design team makes...
Also Marji said this is a fun design team and Jessica is a great leader! That makes a big difference...
I am sending you the following projects...

1. Farm Fresh stair step card...all done with my cricut.
2. Your special card... Creative Kuts file.
3. TSC Teacup - Paper pieced.
4. Totally Owlsome layout from Creative Kuts
5. Snowman layout... Creative Kuts

as you can see I don't have any Pinque Peacock products yet but
I am very interested in your store... I just discovered your products
lately...
thanks for your interest..
Laura

Julie Odil - submission 7/01/13

Hi Jess, here it is! My official application to your wonderful team call. I have been enthralled with pinque Peacock products since I first saw them and think it would be great fun to be a part of the team and have the opportunity to design with your fantastic creations on a regular basis.
Name: Julie Odil Blog Name: Muddy Paws and Inky Fingers Blog Address: http://muddypawsinkyfingers.blogspot.com Email address: julieodil@charter.net or jsodil@yahoo.com or julienodil@gmail.com
Here's links to a couple projects using Pinque peacock stick pins (oh how I love these things!) http://muddypawsinkyfingers.blogspot.com/2013/05/lilacs-hydrangea-im-going-with-lilacs.html and http://muddypawsinkyfingers.blogspot.com/2013/05/live-life-half-full-digi-darling.html
The attachment is a card that will be on the 3 Girl Jam blog July 11, using another Pinque Peacock stick pin.

Designs teams:
3 Girl Jam, of course. Does our term end in July? If so, I'm hoping to stay on again. I LOVE this team! All That Stickles -- I'm leaving this team the end of July to pursue other things.Joy's Life Stamps -- term is April 15-Aug 15. Still uncertain about if I'll stay on. We'll see what else is happening by then ;)Get Inky! Stamps -- term goes through Dec. 31Whimsical Designs Stamps -- term ends in July -- I may or may not stay on, depending on requirements. She's talking of 2x a week with projects and posts and that might be more than I want to take on.Craft Lovin' Challenge Blog -- through Dec. 31Silhouette Challenges -- through Dec 31Cameo Creations -- no term set
I served on the CropChocolate.com design team from July 2012 until the company went out of business mid-May.
None of these teams have products anything like Pinque Peacock, so no conflict of interest!
I enjoy many different types of projects. I make more cards than anything, but I think it's a time factor that pushes me in that direction. As long as I'm creating, I'm happy. I don't really care what it is as long as my creative mind is flowing, then I'm in a happy place.
Manufacturers: I seem to use a lot of My Mind's Eye, Carta Bella, and Echo Park. I can't seem to get myself to use Basic Grey no matter how much of it I buy. That's a goal for me. It's so pretty, then I can't figure out how to use the paper after I buy it.
I first heard about Pinque Peacock from YOU! I enjoy seeing the creations your team makes when I participate in your monthly hops.
I'm uncertain about a time frame to commit to. Three months doesn't seem long enough. It takes me that long to get a team's dynamics figured out and that long to figure out where the folders and documents are for crying out loud! I'm almost positive I'd stay on for 6 months, and if I'm having fun I'd happily stay on for a year. My guess is that Julie will have to kick me off of 3 Girl Jam 'cause I'll never want to leave. If the Pinque Peacock team is that type of easy to work with bunch, I'll be content to stay awhile. Some teams, I do the projects with no chatter on the teams, others, I enjoy socializing a little. Each team is different (but you know that, I'm sure).
I like any of your stick pins, but the smaller ones are my favorites. Some of the bulkier ones are harder to mail, but oh-so-pretty. Then, I'll use them and mail the card in a padded envelope.
Did I miss anything? I've been doing this app in stages. I started it, took a break and did dishes, worked on it a bit more, took a break to walk the dogs, then came back and finished it. So, I hope everything is here.
I stopped at 3 entries because I figure you are quite familiar with my work. If you would like more, just let me know.
Wow! This thing's long! I hope you get LOTS of great applicants, Jess! Good luck with your decision! Julie

Miranda Enclade - submission 6/25/13

Hi Jessica:

My name is Miranda Enclade of Nana's Scrap Spot. My blog address is www.nanasscrapspot.com; my email address ismiranda@nanasscrapspot.com. I am very interested in being a part of your team. I will attach a few pics of some of my projects. You can find me on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/menclade and on Pinterest athttp://pinterest.com/scrappinnana.

In the past, I was part of two design teams. I was on K Andrew's design team for three terms each term being 3 months. I was on My Cricut Craft Room's team for approximately 1 year to maybe 1 1/2 years.

I was just asked recently to be part of a blog hop group that does one post a month and I accepted. It's called Krazy Crafting Crew. My first post will be July 7th.

I do a variety of crafts, mostly cards. However, I do scrapbook and have made Mini Albums in the past and my current love is deco mesh. LOL I also do some vinyl projects. I would say most of my cards are CAS but I love trying new techniques. I would like to do more shaped cards and interactive cards.

I use a variety of products, I have several Cricuts and a Silhouette Portrait which I am trying to learn how to use. I don't really have a favorite product. I use whatever is near me when I am crafting or whatever I think the project may call for.

1. When/How did you first hear about Pinque Peacock? From Jessica while part of or shortly thereafter leaving MCCR DT. 2. Why would you be interested in joining our Team?
I fell in love with her stick pins!
3. What amount of time could you commit to in your first "gig term"
When you say time, do you mean length of term? If so I would be willing to commit to at least a 6 month term and see how things work from there. If you mean time as in posting and/or crafting, whatever is necessary to fulfill my duties and whenever I am available. The one thing I miss most about being a part of a team is having to make time to craft! Being part of a team and having responsibilities encourages me to get into my craft room and make something. Otherwise, I tend to let life get in my way.
4. What are your favorite products at our Shop right now?
All of those GORGEOUS beads and stick pins!

Thanks for considering me,

Miranda www.nanasscrapspot.com
